I Have Done A Complete Disney 360!!!

OK I know that I said that for the money that staying off Disney Property in a large house was going to the the best thing for this trip but, yesterday I got a GREAT Disney Offer in the mail. The offer was that for every room I booked I would receive a $500 Disney Gift Card so...I have got to get three rooms so that's $1500. After I read this offer I called Disney to get some prices. The quote I got was that for us to stay at Disney's Pop Century with three rooms, 6 day park tickets and the Disney Dining Plan it will cost us about $1500 more then the house with park tickets and NO DINING. I was already figuring that it was going to cost almost $2000 for the 11 of us to eat for the week so...that would make up the difference not to mention the $1500 we will get at check it that we can use as our spending money. I talked to Greg last night and he said that the offer was to good to pass up so...I booked!! We are are now staying at Disney's Pop Century for 6Days. Now I have got to change our touring plans and ADR's because now we will want to be in the parks for Extra Magic Hours. So it's Back To The Drawing Broad for planning!

Our "Cast of Characters" for WDW Trip May 2009

This is our Cast of Characters for our upcoming trip to Walt Disney World on May 22-30, 2009.

ME (Jeannie), Age 31. I have been to Disney 3 times and each time I go I get bitten harder with that pesky Disney bug. I love Tinkerbell and Minnie Mouse. I am a self confessed plan-a-holic and enjoy planning almost as much as the trip itself. My favorite things about WDW is Dole Pineapple Whips from MK, Character Meals, Riding Rockin Roller Coaster with Kensley, riding Dumbo with Abby, eating Turkey Legs with Greg and MICKEY MOUSE!!! My Favorite park is Magic Kingdom!

DH (Disney Husband) Greg, Age 37. Lovingly goes along with my planning obbession and secretly loves Disney just as much as I do. You should have seen him when he saw Goofy for the first trip on our trip in 2007...his eyes lit up like a little school boy. He has been to WDW 4. Once when he was 6 and 3 times with us as a family. His favorite things about WDW is Turkey Legs, Fantasimic, Eating around the world at World Showchase/EPCOT, Pirates and Animal Kingdom is is favorite park.

DD1 (Disney Daughter) Kensley, Age 9. She has been to every year since she was 6. Her favorite Princesses are Cinderella and Jasmine. Her favorite things and WDW is Chili Chesse Fries from Pecos Bills, Ribs from Sci-Fi, Rockin Roller Coaster, the 4 Mountains of WDW (Splash, Space, Thunder & Everst), and It's a Small World, The Monorail, Pin Trading, Coin Pressing and getting autographs from the charaters.

DD2 (Disney Daughter) Abby, Age 3. This will be her 3rd trip to Disney. Abby's Favorite Princesses are Snow White and Belle. Her favorite things about WDW are Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bars, Dumbo Ride, The Teacups, getting charater autographs, Peter Pans Flight and character meals.

Faye. (Greg's Mom). Second trip to Disney. Her first trip was when Greg was 6. Magic Kingdom was the only thing open so, this trip is almost like her first trip. She is so excited!!

Brooke, Age 26. This wiil be Brooke's 2nd trip to Disney. Greg and I took her for the first time 2007. Her Favorites things about WDW are Splash Mountain, character autographs, Minnie Mouse and the Teacups.

Kayla (Greg's Niece), Age 14. This will be Kayla's 2nd trip to Disney...Greg and I took her for her first trip in 2007. Her fav things are pin trading, Chef Mickey's, The 4 Mountain's of WDW (Space, Splash, Thunder & Everst), Sorin and Coral Reef.

Summer (Greg's Niece), Age 13. This will be Summer's FIRST Trip to Disney!!

Madison (Greg's Niece), Age 11. This is Madison 2nd trip to Disney. He first trip was with us and her Mom & Dad last Sept. She loves Belle and Jasmine. Her fav things about WDW are Character Autographs, pin trading, Ribs from Sci-Fi, Wishes Fireworks, Character Meals and The 4 Mountains and WDW.

Cortney (Greg's Niece), Age 11. This will be Her FIRST Trip to WDW.

Chloe (Greg's Niece), Age 6. This will be Chloe's FIRST Trip to WDW.

"Mom's at it Again" Mickey here we come!!

OK...This is my first attempt a Pre-Trip Report, or report of any kind for that matter. I Love reading them on other blogs and decided that since I had 3 months before our next trip that this would be a Great way to pass it without driving my family crazy!! In all fairness they are truely good-natured about my planning "Problem" and play along for the most part, hearing about restaurant options, park hours, touring planning, ect...but I know that Greg listens with only one ear!! He's awesome and loves WDW just as much as I do but, planning is really my "thing" and he let's me have it!

So...a little history. We went on our first trip to Disney on July 2006. We went for 4th of July week (WHAT WERE WE THINKING!!!). It was me, Greg, Kensley(6), my sister Jeana, my Bro-in-law Brandon and neice Hannah(20months). We had a Great time but, it was VERY HOT and VERY Crowded. I will post more pics and details on that trip in another post. Our next trip was Labor Day week/Abby's 2nd BDay 2007. The same group went that year plus Abby, Brooke and neice Kayla. We went during the Free Disney Dining Promo. The crowds were lots better and we all had a Great time. More details to come on another post. Our 3rd trip was the last week of Sept. 2008. That time we went with the 4 of us and Greg's Bro. Brian, his wife Trisha and their daughter Madison.

Well I'm at it again...I am planning another trip to Disney. We are going May 22-May 30. This year we are going with our 4, Greg's mom, my sister Brooke and Greg's 5 neices. I know that 7 girls under the age of 14!! Crazy Right??? This year we are doing things a little differant...we are staying off property in a 6 bedroom house that is 2.5 miles from Disney so, about 5 mins away. Money wise...staying on property with that many people was just too much and this just made better CENTS. The house has a private pool and game room for the girls and a full kitchen. Much more room then crammimg into three hotel rooms.

Well got to go...I've got ADR's (Advanced Dinner Reservation)to make. I will post Our Cast of Characters in my need post. :)

Abby's First Big Girl Haircut

Last week I take Abby for her first haircut and to have her ears pierced. She sat up in the chair like a big girl and was so good. She's soooooo Cute.
